Earlier in the week White Travis Fulgham Jersey , we learned that Jake Rudock moved on from the Detroit Lions, not vice versa. On Friday night, we learned of Rudock’s new opportunity in the NFL. The Miami Dolphins signed the Lions’ former sixth-round pick to a futures deal. It’s a good landing spot for Rudock, who just couldn’t seem to get in the mix for the Lions’ backup quarterback job in his three seasons in Detroit. Miami currently only has one quarterback signed for the 2019 season—starter Ryan Tannehill. Backups Brock Osweiler and David Fales are set to become free agents in March and with an entirely new coaching staff joining the Dolphins, Rudock will get a fresh opportunity to impress and potentially reboot his NFL career. With the Lions, Rudock one made one regular season appearance—completing 3-of-5 passes for 24 yard and an interception. In three season’s worth of preseason games, Rudock completed 65.1 percent of his passes for 5.9 yards per attempt, 10 touchdowns and two interceptions. Another NFL regular season came to a close last week, and this year the league was as good as ever. We saw some of the greatest offenses of all time with the Kansas City Chiefs and New Orleans Saints, while teams like the Baltimore Ravens and Chicago Bears channeled their previous iterations to summon incredible defenses. It was a season that saw young stars emerge at every position. Veteran got in on the action as well, with some longtime stars in the league reaching peaks we never thought could be reached. Members of the Pride of Detroit staff submitted ballot’s last week to name the best of the best and honor the players who truly stood out this season.
